• When can I check into my room?

    Room check-in starts at 15:00 (3pm) until 23:00 (11pm). We do ask that you let us know your flight number or train arrival time so we can anticipate your arrival at the hotel.


    Please be aware that this is especially important if you will be arriving in the morning or after 18:00 (6pm). If you are arriving before 15:00 (3pm) you will be more than welcome to store your bags starting at 8am with us until your room is ready.


    Unfortunately, check-in after midnight is not possible. Thank you for your understanding.

  • When do I have to leave?

    You would need to check-out of your room by 12:00pm, but you are more than welcome to store your bags with us if you are leaving Amsterdam later in the day.

  • What does the price include?

    All of our rates are including VAT. Amsterdam city tax and fixxed tourism fee are calculated separately. Breakfast is always included in the rate. Included in the room is also free Wi-fi, coffee & tea-making facilities, Rituals© bath products and bathrobes.

  • Do you have a lift/elevator or ground floor rooms?

    Our rooms are located on the 1st through the 3rd floors and can only be reached by stairs. Unfortunately, the hotel building is not suitable for physically challenged guests. The monumental canal houses of the city center are very charming, but also come with 15th-17th century staircases.


    Since we do not have an elevator, and our stairs are typical for Amsterdam (i.e. steep and narrow), we are more than willing to carry your bags to the room for you! We do strongly recomment and appreciate it when you pack light and bring smaller bags.

  • How can I pay?

    We accept payments in cash, via direct debit bank card/PIN, bank transfer or credit cards. We accept the following credit cards: Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa, American Express, VPay or Diners card.

  • Are there any discounts?

    "Please note that all discounts are calculated automatically in our online booking engine.

    Last minute booking rates do not apply for existing bookings. All our rates are per room, per night including taxes.

  • I don't have a credit card. Can I still make a reservation?

    Yes, that is possible if you make a reservation in our booking engine. It will be possible to secure your reservation through an online bank transfer (ideal). When booking for the non-refundable rate or the Standard rate with the pre-pay option you will have the option to pay by bank transfer.

  • Do you have any triple rooms or family rooms?

    Unfortunately, we do not have any triple rooms or larger in our hotel. Please note that we only have double rooms with a maximum occupancy of 2 adults.

  • Can you accommodate a baby or child in a room?

    We are a 18+ hotel and not suitable for children.




  • Can you accommodate our group?

    A maximum of 2 rooms for a maximum of 4 guests can be booked per party. We do not accept any groups larger than 4 guests, even when booking separately. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Do you also serve breakfast?

    "We serve a freshly prepared breakfast served from 8:00 am until 11:00 am daily.

    Our freshly prepared breakfast includes fresh fruit, muesli or granola, yogurt, milk, croissants with fruit jams, fresh bread from BBrood, Dutch artisan cheese, an egg, bacon, fresh orange juice, and tea or any style of coffee. Gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan options are available upon request with at least 24 hours in advance notice."

  • Can you help us to arrange museum tickets and canal cruises?

    You will need to purchase many of the popular musuem tickets in advance before you arrive in Amsterdam. We will not be able to sercure last-minute tickets to the Anne Frank house or Van Gogh museum for you.


  • Is my pet welcome?

    For the comfort of all of our guests, no pets are allowed.

  • Do you provide a map of Amsterdam?

    Unfortunately we have not been able to find a good quality free paper map to provide to our guests. Please contact us directly for our personal recommendations for restaurants, siteseeing and museums.

  • How does public transportation work in Amsterdam?

    Don't forget: In general almost everything is within walking distance, or biking distance, in this city.

  • Can you arrange a taxi transfer between the airport and hotel?

    Would you like to be picked up at Schiphol airport and brought straight to the hotel hassle-free? We can arrange for a taxi to be waiting for you just outside the airport to bring you directly to the hotel for a fixed rate of €69 (for 1-3 persons & mobile phone number necessary for this rate). Taxi vans are available for 4-6 persons at a rate of €79. Taxi's from the 'Taxi stand' at the airport will charge you between 70 -100 euros. There is no fixed rate for the journey from the airport to the city center, the driver will use his meter and the fare will depend on traffic conditions and the route taken.


    Furthermore, the car service we use is more comfortable and the drivers more helpful than the average taxi at Schiphol airport. To arrange this service we will need your flight number, arrival time and a mobile phone number.
